How to Declutter Your House: Challenge Series

Moving into a new space is a pain. Honestly. Add in a toddler, a dog, two full-time jobs, anxiety, and just life in general and it makes it really hard to truly organize your house.

We moved in to our new house last December right before Christmas, after a very stressful sale of our previous house. My husband and I both took off a couple days from work to move all of our stuff into the new house. I’ll be honest, we have a ton of crap. We truly didn’t have nearly enough time to arrange and organize everything. We just wanted to get moved in and live life.

Now that we’ve been here for a little more than a year, we’re realizing how much clutter and crap we have! Plus, our stuff just isn’t functional and organized. You may feel the same way about your space!

For the next 7 weeks, join us on a Declutter Challenge! We’re going room by room to sort out the clutter, throw out the junk, donate or sell the excess, and organize the necessities.

Are you ready!?

DIY Carpet Cleaner Spray

When we bought our current home, it was a HUD foreclosure at a great price. The carpets were far from stain-free, but, not terrible. Now that we have a toddler…well, let’s just say I’m pretty sure there is a spot on the carpet from every meal she has ever eaten. Add a pooch into the mix and our carpet is less than stellar nowadays.

I’m super excited to have our carpets cleaned before we move, but, sometimes you can’t wait for that and you need a great spot cleaner!

This carpet cleaner is from DIY Natural and it’s a pretty basic and easy! Plus, it’s natural which is awesome!

Try it out and tell me what you think! :)
